PLEASE READ VW Golf 2.0 TDI DPF GT Sport 5dr Diesel Manual - Needs Repair/Project VW Golf Sport TDI 2.0-litre diesel, manual, with 159,674 miles. A genuine, well-looked-after car that has been within the same family since it was bought. It has been serviced every year and well maintained throughout its ownership, part service history. The car is comfortable, really nice to drive, very cheap and efficient to run, with the fuel going a long way. It has 4 electric windows, spacious and comfortable seats and a good-sized boot. The interior is very clean and has been well looked after. Not major but just so you are aware the interior lining has begun to ware in a couple places but not obvious or badly. There is a storage compartment where the clip/handle used to open the storage has snapped off (still have it) As a result, the compartment no longer closes properly and hangs down, easily fixable/or can be taped up. And the rear wiper is missing/needs replacing. It comes with 2 keys, with one remote key. It had 2 brand-new front tyres fitted in March 2026, a new windscreen fitted in July 2026, and a fresh MOT in July 2026. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ The car cut out in July 2026. The con rod is bent/ or something in there has broken and pierced a small hole in the engine, causing an excessive oil leak. The car has been looked at by our garage, it does still starts perfectly and runs, no noises etc but it requires an engine repair/replacement and labour. I absolutely love this car and am genuinely very sad to see it go. I would repair it myself if I could, but unfortunately I cannot afford the cost of the engine and labour, especially after recently paying for a good service and the MOT. I'm also planning to travel, so unfortunately I don't feel it's the right time for me to spend even more of my money repairing the car.
