Gearbox Fault !! 2015 Peugeot 2008 Active 1.6 BlueHDi Diesel, Manual, Euro 6 Approx. 150,000 miles. MOT until 28 May 2027. The latest MOT passed with NO advisories. ULEZ compliant and only £35 a year road tax. Very economical on diesel and has been a regularly used car. PLEASE NOTE: The car currently has a gearbox fault and is NOT DRIVABLE. It will need to be collected by recovery truck or trailer. The engine starts and runs normally. The gearbox fault developed while the car was in regular use. A new gear selector cable has since been fitted while investigating the gear selection problem, but unfortunately this did not resolve the fault and the gearbox itself requires attention. I have already replaced the car and simply don't have the time to have this one repaired, which is the reason for the sale. A considerable amount of major maintenance has already been carried out during my ownership, including: Timing belt replaced Water pump replaced Clutch replaced New gear selector cable fitted The car has covered approximately 150,000 miles, but has a very good recent MOT history. Its latest MOT was carried out on 27 May 2026 at 144,244 miles and it passed with no advisories. The MOT is valid until 28 May 2027. It's a 1.6 BlueHDi Euro 6 diesel, so it is ULEZ compliant and benefits from £35 annual road tax. It's also very economical, making it a potentially worthwhile car for somebody able to carry out the gearbox repair themselves or have it repaired economically. The car is complete and the engine starts and runs. It is being sold solely because of the gearbox fault and because I have already bought a replacement vehicle. I have tried to describe the fault as clearly and honestly as possible so there are no surprises. Anyone interested is welcome to view the car and inspect it before buying.
