Description
Owned the car for 2 years, put a lot of repairs into it, and am now looking to upgrade as the car tax is running out and the engine light has come on.
Tax runs out at the end of the month
MOT runs out on 16 January 2027
Runs well, no smoke, no leaks after recent repairs. Serviced in the last month. Road ready.
1 set of keys.
Serviced at various car mechanic locations in Glasgow - Marbela Autos (timing chain, it's a metal one so you shouldn't need to worry about it for a long time), Arnold Clark Garscube Road (various parts, have receipts), Alba Motors (engine shim, new radiator and work on coolant system to make sure it's leak-free), Wee Garage (new brake discs), Auto Advanced Motors (fixed oil leaks).
I've changed the evap valve on it, it's brand new, and it was an OEM part. The 'orange nipple' test passes - it's still there; classic problem on these 1.4L turbos.
New parts:
-Radiator
-Turbo
-Engine block was shimmed
-Tires have a lot of tread on them still
-Timing chain
-Droplinks
-Cam cover, cam seals, oil cooler seals, new clamp from exhaust manifold to turbo
- New thermostat, new hoses and clips
- New pollen and air filters, new oil filter, spark plugs and fuel filter
- Both rear shock absorbers renewed
Receipt available for all of the above-mentioned items.
If you ever work on the engine, look up Chevrolet Cruise manuals and videos; they have the most extensive information available. They have the same engines in them.
There are some scratches on the car; it has never had hard impacts.
Great learner car to get started on.
