Fresh 12-month MOT. I've owned the car for just under two years, covering approximately 7,000 miles. All servicing and maintenance has been carried out myself, with no engine or transmission fault codes. Cosmetically, it's in excellent condition, with a near-flawless exterior, spotless interior, wrapped roof and freshly refurbished gloss black alloys. The roof wrap has faded slightly in the sun but remains intact. Major work includes a new timing kit, thermostat housing, valve stem seals, head gasket and exhaust flex pipe with silencer. The exhaust tip has also been extended slightly for a sportier appearance. I believe in being transparent, so here are the two things I've noticed: - Motorway vibration: Slight vibration through the driver's footwell when accelerating above 65 mph. Possibly wheel balancing or alignment, but the cause hasn't been confirmed. - Acceleration hesitation: Sluggish or jerky when pulling away or changing gears but coasts fine. Unsure whether it's gearbox-related or characteristic of an older 1.4L automatic. Currently investigating the throttle body, accelerator pedal position sensor and fuel trims. Overall, the car has been well maintained and carefully looked after throughout my ownership.
