This brilliant car owes me nothing which is why I'm prepared to let it go for such a low price compared to others on here. I'm the third owner. Service records exist from the 1st owner and myself, but the guy I bought it from could not find his service documents which was very annoying, but assured me his master mechanic mate had serviced it regularly with his other 4 cars. His wife used this one and she told me she was a careful driver. I could tell immediately it had been driven sympathetically. I bought it in Jan 2020 for 5k ( absolute bargain. I drove it home from Dover to Wakefield!) and it hasn't given me any problems at all. It's fantastic to drive and I've never revved it hard. We've had many adventures in her. The MOT history is very good, although some minor issues flagged up this time, but it passed all the same last week. I Was going to sort them myself, but I've cleaned and checked the rubber boots today and they're not bad really, just in keeping with the age of the car, certainly no egress of dirt into the ball joints, and no play. I would have sorted before next MOT in Oct 27 if I were keeping the car. This is the other reason I'm prepared to sell at this price. The paintwork is not perfect, but you can see from the photos it's a very clean car and polishes up lovely. Two keys. I am going to buy a MK4 which is my reason for selling.
