This is my son's Micra which I am selling on his behalf now that he has bought a newer Golf. He has owned the car for just over 2 years, having only covered around 4500 miles. Apart from the standard garage money making scheme of replacing wiper blades and overcharging for them for last year's MOT, the only repair needed has been the exhaust sensor for this year's MOT, which caused it to fail the test on emissions. The sensor was replaced and the car is tested until 26/03/27. Everything on the car is in full working order, and the aircon still produces nice cold air on very hot days as we've had this summer. The only minor imperfections are some wear to the coating of the steering wheel and some light surface scratches to the passenger side rear bumper from a slight parking scrape; otherwise the car is in great condition for its age and mileage. It easily does 50+mpg, is only £35 to tax and doesn't attract charges or surprise penalties for emissions in the London ULEZ and Clean Air Zones in other cities, so it's probably one of the cheapest cars to own and run, especially when future depreciation is taken into account; the next owner could probably run the car for 2 or 3 years and sell it for not much less than it's worth now. It's a very easy car to drive, with great all-round visibility, so would make an ideal first car for a new driver (especially as it already has one slight scrape so the next one won't feel like such a tragedy!) The car has had just 2 previous local lady owners. It was originally purchased by the first owner from Marshall Nissan in Boston and was first serviced by them at 3015 miles on 21/03/17. There are 7 further non-Nissan service stamps in the maintenance booklet done at 5586, 14365, 30612, 44383, 58824, 71320 and 84738 miles. The first of these services (5586 miles on 21/01/2018) was carried out by Danby's Car Sales in Horncastle after the original owner traded the car in with them. They then sold it to the second owner, who owned it for over 8 years until August 2024. The last service was carried out on 23/03/24 before she also traded it in with Danby's again. My son bought the car from Danby's on 13/08/24 when it had 88k on the clock, and Danby's had 2 new front tyres fitted before he bought it. All the tyres still have plenty of tread left on them and should last the new owner for a year or two, and there's half a tank of fuel left, so probably around 175-225 free miles to enjoy before re-filling at today's crazy prices!
