Here is my 2000 Audi 2.6 automatic convertible, it is what's classed as a Modern Classic Car and becoming very rare in this condition, the body is aluminium so does not rust. I bought this car from a collection of cars in a deceased sale. I started the car up myself when i picked it out of it's garage where it had been stored and not touched in over a year, battery on and started first time on the key. The starter motor has a gear ring noise when fired up but still works fine. I took it for MOT and it needed the front wishbones and a driveshaft boot to pass, these were fixed and it now has an advisory free MOT. The engine and box are very good but obviously will need a proper service before using daily, i have put a hundred miles on it with no issues, no lights on dash, no knocks. The electric convertible top works as it should and is in good condition. I have not been able to access the boot so that needs looking at. Wheels and tyres are excellent condition, BBS alloys split rims worth eight hundred pounds, i have the original wheels with excellent tyres on to go with the car. My plan was to fix this up and keep but i am struggling to find a leather repair man to finish some minor bits inside, my guy of 40 years has just retired so looking for a new trimmer. It needs both door panel re-glueing and two small panels on the drivers seat need to be replaced (see pics), so I am letting it go as i have quite a few projects already.
