Description
Hello and welcome to the sale of our beloved car, Shauna. We have owned the car for a year and initially, my wife used the car on the motorway as a commuter. We have recently moved house (much closer to her work) and therefore do not need a big car for the small Lake District roads.
In January, we had it MOTd and spent £200 on getting it through. We then bought it a new battery £150 (April) and in August, a new OS/R tyre (£80). As pictured, on the 29/09, we have spent £1187 to get it through the most recent MOT (now with one advisory for brake pipe corrosion). The work carried out included, front cv joints, rear pads, suspension springs, the NS/R tyre, wheel balance, anti roll bar, and a general fluid service.
It does go without saying that, this car drives faultlessly. It is incredibly quiet to drive and with this diesel engine being at 46500 miles (will rise), it is capable of going on for many more years to come. Its cambelt was changed by the previous owner in July 2024 at 35384 miles too and its next change is due in July 2030, or at 95384 miles.
Bad points to note; 1. It does have one advisory for brake pipe corrosion, 2. There is no service book, the previous owner kept receipts instead of getting stamps, 3. OS/F parts of the front bumper has a small section of plastic missing from the lower part (pictured), 4. The NS/R arch area is scratched and needs a polish (pictured).
Spare parts to note; 1. Spare rear brake motor that I bought but was not needed, 2. X2 keys.
This advert is not going to finish with me saying it's a 'mint' car, because I believe mint best describes a brand new car, but I will say that I always write honest adverts so that if you are planning on coming to view, you know exactly what you are getting. I would therefore give the car a 7.5/10. Thank you for your interest.
