Due to a change in work location I am reluctantly selling my Lexus RX400H as I need a long distance mile muncher. These vehicles are incredibly reliable and the hybrid system brings a level of economy and comfort other manufacturers can only dream of. For a large SUV it is quick and quiet and can easily return 30mpg, diesel equivalents in this category struggle to get 20-25 mpg and have all the issues that come with diesel emissions. Being 17 years old it does have some chips and superficial marks, I've tried to show them in the images but it rained so it might be tricky to spot. The stone chips on the bonnet are the main detractor but there are no dents around the vehicle and a good chip repair place can sort them out I'm sure. I've always stocked up on the usual replaceable parts on all my vehicles and I am including all the components I intended to swap out if they ever needed it. These include Brembo discs all round, Bosch pads all round, rear backing plates, roll bar bushes and a few other bits and bobs. There is no record of the timing belt and water pump being replaced but I am including a brand new Aisin water pump, INA timing belt kit and enough genuine Toyota coolant to complete the job as it was on my to do list for this winter. The Yakima aero bars are practically brand new and included. I fitted the AT tyres last winter and they were that good I left them on throughout the year, they have loads of tread left as shown. The car was never "off roaded" but I marshal some MTB events through the year which involves fire roads and I didn't want to risk slicing standard tyres, there is negligible road noise and they'll be excellent with winter coming. There is a stack of paperwork and stamped service history all visible in the images, the last oil and filter was replaced by myself at the mid point between stamped services If you want an honest, reliable, incredibly comfortable SUV that has been very well looked after then this one is for you. I'm open to sensible offers, if I end up putting an MOT on it as it's only a few weeks away then the price will go up. Any questions let me know.
