Toyota Prius Plus - Replacement Engine - Economical Family Car It has been an extremely reliable, spacious and economical family car. The engine and gearbox run perfectly with no known problems. Fuel costs approximately £42 for a full tank, which gives me around 420 miles. It is very economical to run and also cheap to insure. The car is currently on approximately 320,000 miles, as shown in the pictures. I purchased the car at approximately 312,000 miles, so I have personally driven it for only around 8,000 miles. This means the replacement engine has now covered approximately 50,000 miles in total. The 320,000 miles shown on the dashboard is the mileage of the car itself, not the replacement engine. The pictures also show how clean the replacement engine is. MOT and a full service were completed in August 2026. The Prius Plus is a spacious and practical family car with plenty of room for passengers and luggage.
