Description
For sale is my rare 2011 R56 MINI Clubman John Cooper Works (JCW). I've owned it for the last 3 years, but following the purchase of a Ford Mustang, I've decided to sell the MINI quickly as-is rather than putting further time into fixing the remaining minor jobs.
This car has had substantial investment and major engine work during my ownership, taking care of the common, expensive R56 failure points.
Major Maintenance & Upgrades Completed:
* Engine: New timing chain fitted & new head gasket installed (the essential preventative work for these engines)
* Components: Brand new engine rocker cover, new alternator, and new MAF sensor
* Performance: AEM 21-699C cold air intake system fitted
Condition & Known Issues (Priced Accordingly):
The car recently went through a full specialist inspection on 7th Sept by Barrett's MINI Canterbury. They identified a few items that need addressing:
* Oil Cooler/Filter Housing Leak: Drips onto the hot exhaust causing intermittent smoke. Recommend clean off to identify exact location of leak.
* AC pipes disconnected from AC compressor- need to be reconnected
Because I want a straightforward, quick sale, I have heavily discounted the price below typical JCW market value to give the new owner or enthusiast plenty of room to complete these repairs.
Sold as seen. A fantastic, high-spec factory JCW with the most expensive engine service items already handled.
