2017 Nissan Leaf Tekna - Comfortable, Practical and Well Equipped If you're looking for a comfortable electric car for commuting, shopping and everyday journeys, this 2017 Nissan Leaf Tekna could be just what you're looking for. We've owned the car for several years and have used it mainly for commuting to work and local trips. It has been well looked after and maintained throughout our ownership. It's quiet, smooth and easy to drive, with plenty of features to make everyday journeys comfortable. The Leaf has a 30 kWh battery, which currently gives us around 70 miles of real-world range in warmer weather (above 15C). This has worked well for our daily driving. Longer journeys need some forward planning, with time allowed for charging. The car supports rapid public charging via charging station's tethered CHAdeMO connectors, reaching around 80% in approximately 30 minutes, depending on conditions and the charger. At home, a full charge takes around 4 hours using a 7 kW home charger (longer from a three-pin socket). Both charging cables are included. The Tekna specification gives you plenty of comfort and useful features, including: Leather upholstery throughout, making the interior easy to keep clean Heated front and rear seats Heated steering wheel - particularly welcome on cold mornings Bose sound system, including the Bose speaker/boombox in the boot Bluetooth through the NissanConnect EV system Automatic LED headlights ISOFIX points for compatible child seats Large, practical boot Parking is made easier with the rear camera and Around View Monitor, which gives you a 360-degree bird's-eye view around the car. We've enjoyed owning this Leaf and it has been a dependable part of our everyday life. We're also happy to include a spare tyre if required. This car is particularly well suited to someone with access to home charging who mainly makes local or shorter commuting journeys. For longer trips, you'll need to plan around charging stops.
