Honda Civic Type R FN2 - 2007 - 2.0 i-VTEC GT finished in red, with around 79,000 miles. I bought this car as a temporary car while my own Type R was off the road. The previous owner assured me that it wanted for nothing, but after owning it for the last three months I've ended up putting around £1,500 into it to make sure it is mechanically right. The car has now had a full check-over and full service, including oil, filters etc., and all four brakes have been replaced. The brakes had seized a week after I bought the car, so it has had new discs, pads and new calipers, meaning the braking system is now sorted. Mechanically, the car drives very well and now wants for nothing apart from the tyres, which will need replacing fairly soon. There are a couple of cosmetic points to be aware of: There is a slight paint/scuff mark in one area, as shown in the photographs. My suspicion is that this may have been caused by previous machine polishing/over-polishing in that area. There are some general age-related marks/stone chips to the paintwork. The tyres are getting towards the end of their life and will need doing fairly soon. Other than those points, I think it's a very tidy and well-looked-after FN2 for its age. The car also has an upgraded induction/intake system fitted, along with the switchable map plug-in system which makes big difference. The original intake system and spoiler is included with the car for anyone wanting to return it to standard. I'm only selling as my car is back on the road.
