For sale is my Chilli Orange 2005 Mazda MX5 Icon Edition. 58484 miles. The car is in excellent running condition and has a full comprehensive service history, including original dealer documentation. Over the years I have owned this car, It has had numerous modifications including: K&N Cold air intake Mx5parts Stainless Steel exhaust 4x MeisterR Coilovers Cobra rear strut brace 4x New Rota Alloys. 2 New front brake disks and new offside front caliper, this rectified the common issue of the front brakes on these cars seizing. The car is also being sold with the "Brilliant Black" Hard top pictured in the photos, underneath this the soft top is in excellent condition and was freshly treated and dried before being folded away. I have retained the original parts for everything I have modified, and can include these in the purchase if you so wish - this will allow you to return the car to stock if you prefer this. This car is relatively rust-free for an example of the age, The low level of corrosion is due to the car having been garaged for the last decade, both by it's previous owner and myself, including in a sealed dry storage container for the last 3 years. This car still has a long life ahead of it yet. The interior in this car is excellent, with the original optional extra leather heated seats in good condition. The car has been fitted with an aftermarket Bluetooth radio. The tyres are 4 Michelin Pilot sports in excellent condition and with plenty of life in them. It wouldn't be an honest listing without noting some of the not so great parts: The car has a few age related marks and scratches, including on the non-stock front splitter, which is peeling due to poor preparation from the bodyshop. This can be removed - and the bumper retains the original paint underneath. There is also peeling of the non-stock blister paint on the rocker cover. The car is also missing it's bee-sting radio aerial, however this can be replaced easily with a new screw-in. I have loved this car, but I am selling it because I am not able to give it the attention it deserves, as I no longer work in the area and am required to be away for long periods of time.
