Description

Safety: The car has the Subaru Eyesight system which has reduced accidents involving Subaru cars by 64% globally! 1st keeper was a Subaru dealer who used it as a demonstrator and put very few miles on. 2nd owner bought it under his business name then later transferred it to his own personal ownership hence 3 owners prior to me. I bought it Jan '20 with 60k miles on and full Subaru service history. During almost 7 yrs, it has been a brilliant family car for us, doing another 75k miles. It's been serviced on schedule, mostly at an independent Subaru specialist. To ensure longevity of the CVT transmission, the CVT oil was replaced at about 90k miles. EGR valve was replaced at 98k miles and the Dpf had an offline flush done at 132k miles, which means it should be trouble free for another 100k miles. New rear discs and pads fitted and also a new battery fitted within the past year. It's fitted with Michelin Crossclimate 2 (all season) tyres which only have 12000 miles wear on, so the tread is only worn down by 1mm. This car is massively capable in snow and mud, and has X mode, increasing its capability in slippy conditions and includes hill descent control. It is fitted with Subaru OEM under body protection under the engine bay and below the rear differential. This car can also fit a full sized spare wheel (not included) in a housing space under the hinged boot floor, which is very unusual in most cars these days. It has a tow bar with 13 pin electrics suitable for powering a caravan fridge and lights when towing. I have towed our caravan over the past 4 years, covering about 2500 towing miles. I had a 12 volt power supply fitted by Subaru which is handy for taking a portable fridge on long trips. It has been underbody protected from corrosion using Lanoguard a couple of times in the 7 years I have owned it, so it is certainly less coroded than most other Outbacks on the market of a similar age. As the car is almost 12 years old, there are some inevitable small imperfections on the bodywork, but nothing too bad. Included in the sale is a dog guard cage (we dont have a dog, but it allows us to safely pack things in the boot up to ceiling level) which retail for around 180 pound new Also included is a PURE 600 dab radio receiver, which is plugged into the AUX connection (cost 100 new) I also have Thule aero roof bars and 4 bike carriers which I can include if wanted for an extra 160. I'm selling the car as I have bought a newer Outback. Great cars!
