My son originally bought this car directly from Mercedes, and I took it from him more than 10 years ago. It has been my daily car ever since, with most of the mileage covered on motorways, travelling between Newcastle and London almost every fortnight for the last 8 years. It has been an exceptionally reliable car and a pleasure to own. A small oil leak from the sump plug was picked up during its MOT in January and has since been repaired and will easily pass the next MOT. It still drives every bit as well as when I first got it, smooth, comfortable and powerful. It pulls like a train, with no noticeable loss of performance, and offers a lovely balance of luxury and economy and being a diesel, it still returns excellent fuel economy, even at its age and mileage especially on long motorway journeys. Even for its age, it still looks great. A proper example of German engineering that has served me brilliantly for over a decade. Not in any rush to sell and only reason I'm selling is because I have bought another car. Looking for 6.5k or close, please only serious buyers.
