Description
A rare low mileage Supercharged 4.2 Range Rover Sport having covered less than 62,000 and running the legendary reliable Jaguar engine.
ULEZ compliant, being ideal if you live in or around London or one of the big cities that have introduced this charge.
I bought the RR as a stop gap while my classic car restoration was being completed and to be honest I'd always wanted to try one as only ever owned the Diesel variants. The performance and incredible engine and exhaust note can only be describd as a symphony of V8 loveliness !
This has been further enhanced by a number of modifications including a 10% smaller pulley with remap to suit, bespoke 3D Airbox and a resonate 8 delete which adds to its throaty note.
The first owner had the car for 1 year, the second for 7 years and the one prior to me for 12 years. This last owner was going to keep the car for ever and subsequently built a bespoke garage/workshop to house it, where he could do all associated maintenance and repairs. Because he intended to keep it forever he chose not to keep any detailed notes of work done over the years but suffice to say was keen to stress whatever needed doing was always completed including regular oil changes including gearbox, transfer box and differentials which were done last year. The gear change is silky smooth through all the gears. The underside has been Lanoguarded to keep off the worst of the weather, not that it was driven much and spent most winters tucked away.
During my short tenure I have driven it pretty much every day and was therefore able to identify a number of issues that I have subsequently had rectified as you can see per the recent attached invoice.
There was a small coolant leak and the Airconditioning was inoperative so I decided to replace both the radiator and condenser and had the cooling system completely flushed and renewed and the Aircon re-gassed.
Front & rear parking sensors & active cruise control, remote central locking, heated seats, radio, Satnav etc all works as. Basically I've not come across anything that doesn't work !
An online MOT check will show it's had an extraordinarily long period with only very minor fails and most years have been completely advisory free.
The only current negative thing to report is the condition of the roof lining which began to sag in this years summer heat. Aftermarket Alloys with Good 20"Pirelli's all round.
A rare & collectible RRS.
Serious buyers welcome but I won't entertain time wasters.
