Description
A very original and exceptionally well-preserved example of the Mercedes-Benz 190 E, with just 52,000 miles and same owner for last 20+ years.
Now selling due to inheriting the car and wanting it to go to someone who will love it again.
It has clearly been very well cared for throughout its life and has been garaged and kept under a cover. It remains completely unmodified and presents extremely well for a car of this age.
The interior is particularly impressive and is in immaculate condition, with the original light cloth upholstery, wood trim and fittings all beautifully preserved. It still retains its original radio and Mercedes medical/first-aid kit, which are lovely details and add to the originality of the car.
The exterior is also in very good condition for its age, finished in a lovely deep red/burgundy with the original Mercedes wheel trims. As you would expect from a 33-year-old car, it isn't being described as concours, but it is a very smart and honest example.
The car starts easily, drives well and the automatic gearbox operates as it should. Specification includes electric windows, electric sunroof, central locking and power steering. Two keys are included.
With only 52,000 miles, two owners and such a well-preserved original interior, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find W201 190Es like this. It would make an excellent usable classic for someone looking for an original, low-mileage example rather than a restored or modified car.
Genuine reason for sale following inheritance. Viewing welcome.
