2004 AUDI RS6 C5
If you know, you know.
This is from that era when Audi built cars that felt properly special. No fake exhaust noise, no enormous touchscreens, no trying too hard. Just a beautifully understated estate with a 4.2-litre twin-turbo V8, Quattro and the sort of performance that made the RS6 an absolute icon.
Back in the early 2000s, this was the car you saw on Top Gear, read about in Evo magazine and promised yourself you'd own one day. From the outside, it could almost pass for an ordinary Audi estate. Put your foot down and it was anything but.
This particular car belonged to my late father and was his absolute pride and joy. He loved it, looked after it and was incredibly particular about his cars. Sadly I haven't been able to find the service history, so I'm not going to pretend otherwise, but I know how much this car meant to him and how well it was cared for while he owned it.
It has a new MOT and is now looking for its next owner.
I'd much rather it went to someone who understands what these cars are than somebody simply looking for a cheap fast car.
The C5 RS6 is becoming a genuinely rare sight now. It comes from a generation of performance cars that we simply won't see again big V8, proper Quattro, analogue feel, understated looks and ridiculous performance hidden underneath.
It isn't a brand-new car and I'm not trying to sell it as one. It's a 22-year-old RS6 with missing service history, and the price reflects that.
But at this price I think it represents an incredible opportunity for an enthusiast to own one of Audi's most memorable cars.

No silly offers please. I'm not desperate to give it away.
It was my dad's pride and joy, and I'd love to see it go to someone who'll appreciate it for exactly what it is.
Serious enquiries welcome.
