Description
For sale is my 2011 Golf GTI Edition 35 - quite a rare being limited edition. I've owned this for 9 years and I have a folder full of receipts for all the servicing (complete history) and maintenance during that time - if something has needed doing, I've had it done. I'm the 4th owner of the car and overall it is in very good condition considering its age. As a car enthusiast I believe I look after them a lot better than most people do.
With this being the limited edition 35, it has additional styling features such as the lovely 18inch Watkins Glen alloys (which could do with a refurb) and the 35 styling around the car, as well as being 15mm lower than the standard GTI of this age. The engine in the Edition 35 is the 2.0 litre turbocharged EA113 engine, a detuned version of the engine found in the Mk 6 Golf R and the older Edition 30. This is well regarded to be a bullet proof engine.
In addition to ALL usual services, the following preventative maintenance has been carried out. As you can see, the DSG gearbox has been serviced twice and the cambelt & waterbelt have been replaced twice too,.
- DSG Transmission Service @ 40,000
- Cambelt and Water pump replaced @ 50,000
- Cambelt and Water pump replaced and DSG Transmission Service @ 75,000
- Air Conditioning Condenser replaced @ 79,000
- Alarm Horn replaced @ 80,000 (the tiny internal battery on these dies after 15ish years and causes the alarm to sound in error)
It's due an MOT and service in November, but I'll get this done prior to sale so that it's less hassle for you.
I'm happy to answer any questions, thanks!
