I purchased it in 2014 as the second owner, with approximately 20,000 miles on the clock, and have covered around 72,000 miles since then. The car has mainly been used for weekend driving, with relatively little use during the working week, when it is generally parked at the nearby train station. At home, it is always garaged overnight. The car has always been serviced in line with its maintenance requirements throughout my ownership. The engine runs very well indeed, and the car drives superbly, There are, of course, a few minor age-related cosmetic blemishes. The only other point worth mentioning is the glovebox, as one of the hinges was accidentally broken several years ago .This is not noticeable cosmetically and I keep it locked as not really for use, but I prefer to be completely transparent with prospective buyers. Mechanically, the engine runs very well, and the car drives fantastic. I have genuinely loved owning this car for over 12 years. I am now looking for the right next owner, someone who will appreciate this increasingly distinctive Mk2 TTS and give it the same care and attention it has received during my ownership. One final point about the car's driving history: although the TTS is a performance car capable of delivering an exhilarating drive, mine has been driven normally and responsibly throughout my ownership, rather than routinely being pushed to its limits. It has been enjoyed for what it is without being constantly driven hard. I have priced the car fairly with a view to achieving a straightforward sale, and I am not looking to enter into lengthy price negotiations.
