Description

My Stunning XJR up for a very reluctant sale, house extension means two of my beloved jaguars will have to go, this one is truly my pride and joy. 10 months MOT. Cared for in my ownership for 6 years by GDP a Master Jaguar Engineer. The Service History is comprehensive but not full, since it entered my care everything that has needed doing has been done including new disks and pads, new headlining (the old ones go saggy) new rear axle, new water pump and hoses, new torque converter, Gearbox oil at 85K, new Sat Nav Antenna, new break pipes, newly refurbished "Sepang" alloy wheels, all new Falken tyres (insured against potholes) and new Engine warning light, new anti-knock sensors and EGR sensors. All these new parts are OEM and to the maximum possible specification. The previous owner also fitted a TWR stainless steel exhaust system which just adds to the drama, and sounds like a true thoroughbred racing car, but in the cruise settles down to a nice burble. The car is the highest possible specification with a 7-disk changer, CD player, DVD player, twin rear screens, a rear entertainment control suite including another radio module twin phone jacks and two GSM telephones, and a rear automatic blind. The car is in a rare storm grey paint with complementing racing specification trim in charcoal birdskin leather with red racing stitching. The front seats are electrically adjusted and heated. It also has a heated front screen. The veneers are in birdseye smoked maple, again rare and beautiful and compliment the storm grey exterior perfectly. It comes with many bills, wallet, service book and manuals. It was serviced less than 800 miles ago by my Jaguar specialist, and the oil is still honey gold. The car's performance is monumental. Now the bad stuff The aircon gas has expired and needs a recharge, but there's no point doing it as we come into October so I have left that for now. External c-pillars and rear wing paint is degrading just above the coach line and needs some attention; the colour is good but its slowly going more matte over time and could do with a good cut and buff and possibly some new lacquer. Two keys, currently manual despite new batteries...I'm taking advice on that and will update anyone who calls. Open to any sensible offers
