I have owned my mini for 5 years, the car has history from its original bill of sale and now covers quite a thick pile of varied bills and MOT history throughout it's life from first service to it's last this year in May, hand written notes documenting intermediate tyres and bits fitted also. The car had a full interior out, windows out, engine out maintenance when first acquired as had sat for a while. New suspension, brakes, exhaust, interior, sound deadening, cables, carpet, tinted screen, head rebuilt, gearbox rebuilt, the list got progressively bigger and think totalled over 10000, the car was then run in to give the new components time to settle, a few slight nods to old school, chrome mirrors, rear mirror, old school lights, sump guard, tow eyes,lower rear fog were fitted along the way.the car still runs it's airbox with internal k&n and the ss rear box which was on the car when purchased but marries up with the new catalyst exhaust perfectly.Still has it's operators manual, books and 3 keys sets and 2 working fobs, electric webasto, extended runners on drivers seat so taller bods can fit, now just looking for a change, so outright sale or something interesting in part exchange but now at my age I do not really want a restoration project, so running stuff only.
