Description
This 2009 Volkswagen Golf V6 R32 is a well-regarded hatchback that combines performance with the practicality expected of the Golf range. As an R32 trim model, it is powered by a 3.2-litre petrol engine, offering a driving experience defined by its specific engineering and build quality. It is capable of 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. Despite its performance capabilities, it was designed to be practical for daily use, featuring a large boot space that offers ample room for luggage or shopping. Furthermore, it sits in a low insurance group for a car of this performance level, which makes it a more accessible option compared to many other vehicles in the same class.
I have owned this car over 6 years and it is my pride and joy I never thought I would sell. But things change so it's time to let it go. I searched for nearly a year until I found this amazing example. So many were advertised as mint, but were far from it in the flesh. I wanted a Deep Blue Metallic 3 door and nothing else would do. Until I saw how the silver popped out in the sunshine in real life on this car and I was hooked! The paintwork is in fantastic condition. It's done 54,170 miles so it isn't perfect and there are a few tiny chips. Before me, the car spent a big part of its life wrapped in a satin Deep Blue Metallic, so the original paintwork was protected. The car is kept in insulated storage, under a soft cover. The interior shows very little sign of wear. 2 keys, original owners wallet and V5 in my name.
The car is standard except for tinted windows, a stainless steel Miltek cat back exhaust (not that noticeably louder than standard) and an OEM VW CarPlay unit that looks like the original RNS510 NAV (in a box to go with it).
It benefits from Bi-Zenon headlamps, cruise control, heated seats, multi-function wheel, smooth DSG gearbox (with launch control), touch screen CarPlay/Android, auto dimming mirror.
Apart from the cars 2nd service in 2011 (18,345 miles), it has been serviced at VW/Audi dealers - the last being 2,362 miles ago. Since then, I have replaced the oil and filter with Millers Motorsport CFS NT+ Nanotech oil and OEM filters. The last oil change was 102 miles ago (last year) but as part of this sale I will have the car serviced at VW for there new owner.
As you can see, it's not used enough and deserves a new home. It has been well looked after and not abused. I am an older person, who loves cars and the R32 is one of a few, but it will be very sad to see it go.
