Description
I have owned this superb 2024 Tesla Model 3 (Highland) from new and it is registered in my name. It is a Premium Long Range, Dual Motor, all-wheel drive and has the rare Tesla detachable Tow Hitch package (I tow a super lightweight 400kg trailer but it's also useful for a bike rack). 18" Photon multi-spoke alloy wheels which do look sporty, but I run it with Tesla Aerotrim covers for the very best efficiency (worth 7% at 70mph). Stunning Ultra Red (PR01) paintwork.
The white seats stay looking as good as new with just a wipe with a damp cloth every month or so. Panoramic glass roof gives a wonderfully light and airy interior. Apart from a few minor marks/stone chips the car is in really nice condition and just looks great. The tyres are all at approx 3mm, so don't need changing yet. Tesla "Autopilot" has adaptive cruise control and steers in its lane (the law says you have to keep your hands on the wheel).
Road tax is one hundred and ninety pounds a year.
Climate Control with heat pump, heated seats. Set schedules for pre-conditioning the cabin which is so nice on a cold frosty morning as it clears the frost, warms the interior and heats the drivers seat and steering wheel. Schedule charging times too, which will mostly be at home, but the car "locks" in the location when you set it, so if you're away it will remember the settings, inc current, for that location. Adaptive LED pixel headlights are extremely impressive where you drive on main beam all the time and individual pixels drop out on approaching vehicles or pedestrians.
Sentury mode, Pet Mode use the multiple cameras (Teslacam) around the car - which you can see in my video. The rear seat backrests fold forwards (1/3 or 2/3) opening up a very large boot space with sunken storage below. Tesla's do not have a service schedule as such - the car or app informs you if anything needs attention. Over the air updates are frequent so your Tesla gets better and better.
This Highland build model has laminated glass all round ("double glazing") making for a very quiet and smooth drive. Charged mostly on slow chargers at home and work helped a recent Tesla Battery Health Test return 93%.
At 100% SOC the car predicts a range of 321 miles - and that's what I get driving to the speed limits including motorways. 62,798 miles with Tesla Battery and Motors Warranty to 31st July 2032 or 120,000 miles.
