VW Sharan 2011 2.0 TDI 5dr Diesel DSG, Fresh MOT. 185,600 miles Just MOTed (next one due on 14.10.2027), no significant advisories (surface rust on control arms and springs, scuffs on the left rear tyre). Reluctant sale - genuine reason. It's been our reliable and much-loved family hauler since 2021. Only selling it because I now need to make frequent trips into ULEZ areas, and got a petrol car. Otherwise, would have kept it for another 3-5 years. Very clean throughout. Runs and drives as it should. The engine and gearbox are very good, zero oil consumption, no smoke, smooth shifts. All buttons, electrics, aircon etc. works at it should as well. During my 5 years and 60,000 miles of ownership, I have kept maintenance intervals short and used only high-quality oil and filters (Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 oil, Mahle, MANN or Hengst filters only). Brand new front lower arm rear bushes and Bilstein rear shock absorbers were fitted just a 500 miles ago (as per previous MOT advisory). - Full service history, with a huge file of invoices and receipts. - Front and rear parking sensors, electric tailgate, Bluetooth audio, alloy wheels and 7 seats. - Plenty of life left in the front and rear brakes, with good tyres. - No oil leaks and absolutely no measurable engine oil consumption between oil changes. The inside of the engine looks very clean from what I can see through the oil filler cap. - DSG gearbox serviced regularly. The last service was carried out at 167,319 miles last year by the main VW dealer in Stratford-upon-Avon. It passed all the main dealer health checks with flying colours and was reported to be in great condition. - Very economical on fuel, low annual tax. 6-speed wet-clutch DSG, which is considered to be way more robust than the 7-speed dry-clutch DSG fitted to petrol versions. Shifts flawlessly, works exactly as it should, and has never given me any odd shifts, errors, fault codes or issues during my ownership.
