Selling my 1992 Mercedes 190 due to lack of use. I bought this car on impulse , I really liked the original interior and classic character. However I don't use it enough. The car drives very well. The engine is remarkably quiet, smooth and reliable. I personally drove it home after buying it from Kent to Hatfield and was impressed with how well it performed. The previous owner looked after the car. Many items that previously appeard on MOT history have been repaired and replaced before I bought the car. The work is visible on the car. I haven't got the receipts for the work done. The suspension arms underneath have all been replaced with new parts, the underside is solid, with no significant structural rust, and the car feels strong and well maintained. The starter motor has also been replaced with a new one. This W201 stands out with its sporty appearance. It sits lower than a standard Mercedes 190 and the rear spoiler completes the look . It also comes with a factory sunroof. At the moment, I have only been able to operate the sunroof manually I haven't investigated the issue , but it may be something as simple as a fuse or an electrical fault. The radio is included with the car , but is not installed , I have never attempted to fit it or test it, so I cannot comment on whether it is in working order. As expected for a 34-year-old classic , rust spots around the body, nothing I consider significant and overall the body remains solid. The car would benefit from some cosmetic paintwork in these areas if the next owner wants to bring it up to an even higher standard. This is a example of the classic Mercedes-Benz W201 with plenty of character. It would make and excellent classic daily drive or a great addition for any Mercedes enthusiast.
