Description

BMW M135i 2013 Automatic - Stage 2 - approx. 375 BHP / 681 Nm Engine needs attention. NEW MOT - valid for 12 months. The car is in excellent condition inside and out for its age and presents very well. It is a great-looking, well-maintained example with a high specification and has had a lot of money and work invested in it. I have spent over £3,000 on the car over the last year, with most of the maintenance and repair work carried out this year. The only downside is that the engine can sometimes shudder when stationary. The car starts, drives normally, pulls well and accelerates strongly, but I do not know exactly what is causing the issue. After spending so much on it already, I do not want to keep putting more money into diagnosing it. It would suit someone who knows these cars and can investigate and sort it themselves. Two other faults: Boot currently does not open - most likely needs a replacement boot lock/latch. One warning is showing for the front headlight adjustment/levelling system. Recent work / new parts include: Water pump and thermostat Valvetronic motor Rocker cover gasket Crankcase breather pipe/hose Eccentric shaft sensor gasket Injectors replaced NGK spark plugs Bosch ignition coils Lambda/O2 sensor Intake pipe Castrol 5W-40 engine oil and filter Coolant changed Differential oil changed ZF automatic gearbox service Brake fluid changed Front brake pads and wear sensor Rear Bilstein shock absorbers and top mounts Steering rack bush Further diagnostic and engine work carried out this year The car has also been professionally Stage 2 tuned by CTG Performance and produced around 375 BHP and 681 Nm on the dyno. It pulls strongly and is a very enjoyable car to drive. It also has a professionally fitted VERY LOUD train horn system. The original standard horn still works normally. The compressor in the boot is part of the train horn setup and can stay fitted or be removed before sale. The car comes with almost a complete service history, plus invoices and receipts for the recent work carried out. The car is still fully driveable and has had a lot of money spent on it. It would be ideal for someone familiar with BMWs who can finish diagnosing and sorting the engine issue. Priced accordingly because of the engine issue.
