Description

Genuine Manual BMW E30 325i - Fully Restored - Fantastic example of an increasingly sought-after classic BMW. I've spent the last two years restoring this car, and it has now passed its MOT and is ready for the road. The car currently shows 210,000 miles. Unfortunately, there is no service history, as it was a barn find. It had been off the road and dry-stored for approximately 19 years before I took it on. The car is completely standard, with no modifications, and is now in very good condition following extensive restoration work. Restoration and mechanical work The restoration has been thorough, with a huge amount of time, money and effort invested throughout. Work includes: Engine removed and rebuilt with relevant seals, sensors and other components replaced as required. Rust repairs completed to a good standard. Underneath treated and undersealed. Gearbox, differential and rear axle removed, reconditioned and powder-coated before being refitted. Numerous other parts replaced with new components or professionally reconditioned items. In all honesty, it would be easier to list the parts that haven't been replaced or refurbished. The aim has been to bring the car back to a reliable, well-presented condition while keeping it as close to factory specification as possible. The only job I would consider finishing, if I were being particularly fussy, is the seat covers. I already have the material to do this, but unfortunately haven't had the time to get it done. A note to potential buyers I'm selling the car, but I'm not under any pressure to sell. I know the time, effort and expense that have gone into this restoration, and I'm looking for a sensible offer that reflects the car and the work carried out. Please don't waste either of our time with unrealistic offers. If you're genuinely interested in owning a well-restored, standard E30 325i, you're more than welcome to get in touch. I appreciate that there are other E30s out there, but examples like this, with this level of restoration and in genuine manual specification, are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Part exchange may be considered, but only for something particularly interesting, and it must be a manual. P/X to be less then half the value of my car. Serious enquiries welcome.
