Description
I've owned the RS4 for almost a year and have absolutely loved it. I bought it from a friend, and between us we've spent a few thousand pounds over the last couple of years getting it mechanically sorted. It now drives and handles beautifully, with that naturally aspirated V8 providing a frankly ridiculous soundtrack.
Since November 2025, the focus has been on putting things right mechanically rather than spending money on cosmetic upgrades.
Recent work includes:
Headlight system repaired with a new ballast, power module and adjuster switch
Gearbox fluid and filter changed
Passenger seat wiring fault repaired
Courtesy and dashboard lighting faults rectified
Audi badge and rear wiper blade replaced
Oil and filter service following the April 2026 MOT
New KW front dampers
New front control arms
New drop links
New anti-roll bar bushes
New strut mount and spring perch
Full steering geometry realignment
The result is an RS4 that feels considerably fresher, quieter, and tighter than it did a year ago. It drives and handles exactly as you'd hope one of these would.
The car is CAT N, having previously been stolen and recovered. From the vehicle history reports I obtained when I bought it, my understanding is that the damage related to the windows being smashed during the theft. There is no obvious evidence of accident/bodywork repair and the panels appear original. Cosmetically, it's an honest car and would benefit from a good polish rather than pretending it's a concours example.
Reason for sale is very simple: I currently have four cars and had a slight accident on eBay last week... which means I now have a classic Beemer on the way!
It's been a great car, sounds fantastic, and I'll genuinely be sorry to see it go.
Any questions, just give me a shout.
Cheers,
Graeme
