Description

Porsche 911 (997.1) Carrera S 3.8 - 6-Speed MANUAL - 2007 A genuinely cherished, enthusiast-owned example of one of Porsche's finest modern 911s. It is with considerable reluctance that I've decided to offer my 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera S for sale. This is a car I never intended to part with, but circumstances and other motoring ambitions have changed, and sadly I can't keep everything! When I originally set out to buy a 997, I spent a considerable amount of time searching for the right example. I wanted a properly maintained, honest car with good history and, most importantly, the six-speed MANUAL gearbox. Eventually, I found this one, and I've thoroughly enjoyed owning it ever since. It's been driven, enjoyed and used as Porsche intended, so naturally there are some signs of age and use. However, it has also been genuinely loved, cared for and properly maintained throughout my ownership. The dark metallic blue paintwork presents beautifully and really suits the understated lines of the 997, complemented by the classic silver alloy wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, the black leather interior has worn well and retains its original character. I've always believed there's a big difference between a car that's simply been polished and one that's been properly looked after. This is very much the latter. History and Maintenance The car benefits from a substantial service history, which was one of the main reasons I bought it. I've continued to keep on top of servicing and general maintenance throughout my ownership, including replacing the air-conditioning unit. Importantly, I've also booked the car in w
