A dependable car that has never let us down! COMFORT & PERFORMANCE I've travelled in BMWs and Mercedes, but genuinely find this Passat's seats exceptionally comfortable. We've enjoyed long journeys to Bournemouth and London, and it's a dream on the motorway. Smooth 6-speed gearbox, strong turbo diesel engine, excellent fuel economy and a stable, comfortable drive with no unusual engine noises or vibrations. RELIABILITY & MOT Starts first time, even on freezing winter mornings. Never broken down during my ownership, and I've never needed my breakdown cover. Only 4,713 miles covered in the last MOT year. MOT until 7 August 2027. The only advisory concerned the rear tyres, which have BOTH now been replaced. Previous MOT repairs completed. EXCELLENT EQUIPMENT Cruise control, Auto Hold, electronic handbrake, front/rear parking sensors (wiring needs attention), electric driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support, heated electric mirrors, four one-touch electric windows, remote window opening/closing, two keys, alarm, trip computer with MPG/fuel range, fog lights, heated rear window, rear air vents, front/rear 12V sockets, alloys, adjustable steering wheel, armrests, cup holders, folding rear seats, through-load access, enormous boot, spare wheel and toolkit. MODERN UPGRADES 7-inch Android touchscreen with Bluetooth, navigation, music and hands-free calling. Upgraded bright LED headlights and professionally installed subwoofer wiring. HONEST DISCLOSURE Engine management light illuminated. Diagnostic scan dated 08/08/2026 showed P0673/P0674 glow-plug circuit faults on cylinders 3 and 4. Diagnostic report included in photos. Garages estimated £100-£200 for glow-plug replacement, subject to confirmation. Car starts and drives normally. Parking sensor wiring needs reconnecting. Age-related scratches, small dents and alloy wear, but looks smart when cleaned. Comfortable, smoke-free, pet-free interior during our ownership.
