I'm selling my Forester due to importing a Toyota Crown Athlete estate from Japan. It's just had a new MOT done. It cost me £750 for welding repairs (lots of new metal) and rear brake discs/pads and pipe (receipt present). No advisories. Had the front discs, pads and calipers replaced not long ago. It drives as it should and boosts strongly. Forge Motorsport dump valve recently added. STi lightweight aluminium shift knob. OZ Superleggera 17" multi-spoke alloys. RCM/Dayco cambelt kit, second-hand gearbox and rear diff fitted at 150,000 miles (receipts totalling £1,100). It had a brand new engine fitted (genuine Subaru EJ207 short block) by Triton Motorsport at 153,000 miles, along with RCM uprated head gaskets, 11mm head studs and Fastline TD04 Hybrid turbo conversion. I've not had it on a Rolling Road, but it's quick, for sure. Receipts totalling £6,400 for this work. Air con regassed at 158,000 miles and still blows very cold. Sunroof opens, but is wedged shut currently as it leaks otherwise (frame has dropped; common fault). New battery at 159,000 miles. New Goodyear tyres all round at 160,000. Last serviced at 164,000 miles. A fraction over 167,000 miles on the clock now, which won't go up as the tax has run out and I don't intend to use it again.
