After many wonderful years and countless family adventures, it's finally time to say goodbye to our much-loved Ford Transit Custom 270 Trend. It's been a fantastic family vehicle, but with the children getting older, our needs have changed, and it's time for another family to enjoy it as much as we have! Finished in metallic grey, this 2017 2.0 EcoBlue 130PS six-seater really stands out, with RS Edition-style decals, smoked-effect headlights, upgraded alloy wheels, sporty side skirts, rear privacy glass, side-step running boards and fixed tow bar. IMPORTANT - WET BELT ALREADY REPLACED! One of the biggest considerations when buying a Transit Custom is the wet timing belt. Ours was professionally replaced on 27 March 2025 at 86,446 miles, along with extensive additional mechanical work, including: Complete timing belt kit New oil pump and oil pump belt Auxiliary belts Vacuum pump Oil pump inlet tube New battery Engine oil and filter All professionally completed, with the invoice available as proof. A huge reassurance for the next owner. MOT: Class 4 MOT completed 26 March 2026. PERFECT FOR FAMILY ADVENTURES With six seats across two rows, there's plenty of room for the whole family. The spacious rear compartment is completely separated from the passenger area and has been carpeted and panelled, with coat hooks and practical storage space. It's been brilliant for holidays, days out, sports equipment and everything else family life throws at you! Even works as a great changing room. The layout also offers fantastic potential for a future camper or day-van conversion, making it incredibly versatile. With one rear side door, it allows a kitchenette and sink to be fitted if desired. FANTASTIC FUEL ECONOMY We've regularly enjoyed excellent economy, achieving nearly 700 miles from a full tank on longer journeys. This particular model doesn't have air conditioning, but as a result, it makes the van extremely economical. With its distinctive styling, practical six-seat arrangement, generous storage and documented major maintenance, this is much more than your average Transit Custom. It's genuinely been a brilliant part of our family life, and we'll be sad to see it go. Hopefully, its next owners will make just as many happy memories as we have.
