This colour does not seem to come up very often on Autotrader. This one is result of a foolish auction bid when already have 2 cars and a crowded driveway. A folly based on teenage dream of owning one. Lots of history, receipts for work done. Major Engine rebuild 2020 - engine block and crankshaft replaced. Complete re spray in 2017 so body / paintwork in exceptionally good order. Seats re Connelised in 2020. Rear jump seats pristine, front seats show expected leather wear patina but still in good order. Mechanically, V8 engine burbles reassuringly and oil on dipstick is a clear golden colour. Transmission is solid, smooth gear changes. Feels *very* fast if you floor it! Steering positive and direct, no hesitation or wandering. Brakes feel reassuringly progressive & sharp. Overall a 'tight' pleasant drive & ride. Since acquisition, have put on very few miles. Repaired: A/C, electric boot release (drove me to edge of insanity). Passenger seat motors. Side mirror controller was erratic. Sunroof currently disabled as it's tiny, operating cables are finicky and controlling module fault meant it opened / closed in tandem with drivers side window. Sunroof motor & gearbox work so could easily be recommissioned if desired. Personally feel it's more trouble than worth! Headlamp washer system not working. Probably needs new motor. Everything else works. Comes with inbuilt trickle charger for battery, small touch up paint bottle and a custom cloth cover (not suitable for outdoor use) Long MOT with NO ADVISORIES which is pretty remarkable for car of this complexity & age. Service book but no owners manual. Two sets of ignition keys. Original tools in boot.
