HERBY is neat Inside - a Nonsmoker, Seats not worn or torn; Carpets clean and tidy; Foot pedal rubbers not worn; Dash complete and tidy; Cubbyhole neat and usable; Canopy properly retracts/closing functional; Alarm system functions well even sensitive when canopy is open; Windows retracts and closes well with pushbutton controls; Radio FM/AM, non-DAB, speakers excellent sound range and intact; CD shuttle Six discs works flawlessly, has a Dashboard CD disc unit, Internal light currently to be replaced; HERBY has two functional remote key fobs; Canopy has been waterproofed, retracts and folds effortlessly and closes fully with no drafts, three fabric frays were mended; Minor scratches does not distract in the dent less tidiness of the car; All Lights and reflectors are intact and functional; All four tyres have good tread and offers much carefree road mileage; Four alloy rims are complete with their mini hubs; Boot spacious and opens via remote key, a Beetle Heinz Workshop Manual is left in the boot to accompany the Beetle; HERBY has had a number of replacements done making Herby nearly as good as new again, the following were replaced or done up: Battery 40 A/h, Bosch Spark plugs x 4, Brake Calliper - right rear, brake pads front - both left and right, Brake pads rear - both left and right, Cam oil seal, CV boot kit - right, Cylinder head gasket, Cylinder head stretch bolts x 8, Discs front - both left and right, Engine mountings - left right and rear, Fuel filter, Hood Ultra water proofer applied twice, Ignition housing, Oil change & oil filter changed twice, Oxygen Sensor upper, Spare Remote Key, Starter motor - new, Suspension arms - both left and right, Timing Belt, Tyre 205- R55 16 x 1 left, Valve stem seals x 8. So done, HERBY will absolve the same parts to be replaced again over a further term of service. HERBY's MOT was done June 2026, the 1.6 litre engine performs well, is a delight to drive, holds the road well, starts first time, has no oil leaks and clean, and holds a standard CO emissions report as per its recent MOT. HERBY was acquired and made reliable to safeguard peace of mind travel for two of my granddaughters for a time and period, now unfortunately in excess to my wife's and my car needs, necessitating to scale down and offsetting HER. M16BTL - A UNIQUE Registration Number, 'secretive: MI6 ' and 'BTL: Beetle' plates remain with Herby, and has the potential to be sold as a sought-after registration plate, thus rounds up 'Herby'.
