f you’re after a small faux-by-four, but you’d quite like to avoid buying yet another Nissan Juke and then spending the rest of your life trying to work out which one is yours in the Tesco car park, have a look at this little beauty. It’s a SEAT, so underneath you’re getting all the reassuring build quality and dependability you’d expect from the Volkswagen family, but with a bit more Spanish style and flair thrown in. Basically, sensible German engineering has gone on holiday, ordered a sangria and loosened its top button. And it looks GREAT. It’s different enough to stand out from the crowd, without screaming “PICK ME! LOOK AT ME! I’M DIFFERENT!” every time you pull up outside someone’s house. Nobody needs that sort of attention. The specification is equally impressive. Heated front seats, touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse parking sensors, cruise control, built-in sat nav, climate control with air conditioning, Bluetooth... honestly, I could keep going, but neither of us needs that. You get the idea. It’s got loads of stuff. Better still, it’s a one-owner example that’s come to us directly from Motability, so it’s been properly looked after rather than spending the last few years being driven around like it owes somebody money. We’ve also got TWO keys, which doesn’t sound particularly exciting until you buy a used car with only one and discover how much another one costs. Then, before you drive it away, we’ll give it a fresh service, put a brand-new MOT on it AND include 12 months parts and labour warranty for complete peace of mind. And all of that is completely FREE of charge. Honestly, at this point I’m not sure what else you want from us. A hamper?
