Description

Thanks for viewing my truly stunning, totally original and low mileage 2006 Ford Focus ST2. This is a reluctant sale, but an opportunity has come up to own a car I've always fancied. Sadly I can't keep both . Only 57k miles from new. 19 service stamps backed up with a file full of old receipts, MOT's etc Original book pack and two original functioning keys There's even the original sales brochure! Spec includes- Original Sony CD Radio Recaro cloth seats Air con Air bags 18'' alloy wheels Usual ST body styling Genuine Ford carpet maps I've spent over £2000 in the past year on maintenance including- Discs and pads, Drive shaft 4x Michelin PS5 tyres Brand new original Ford carpet mats Major service in May, including spark plugs MOT with no advisory items, valid until May 2027. Cam belt and water pump replaced in 2022, with invoice. I was very picky when looking for the ideal ST, for me it had to be Performance blue and it had to be an ST2, with the colourful cloth seats- they really suit the character of the car. I looked at a few examples, but the overall condition and brilliant service records made this example a no-brainer for me.The car has always been stored in a dry garage in my ownership and never driven on wet roads. The beautiful Performance blue paint is bright and full of depth, with barely a mark on it, except the odd stone chip on the front, which is to be expected for a car of this age. The wheels have zero kerb rash and the tyres are like new. The interior is near perfect, the seats are mark and stain free, the passenger and rear seats look like they've barely been sat in. Parcel shelf, locking wheel nut and original ashtray are present. The car drives like a dream, the 2.5t 5 cylinder engine feels strong and has pull in all the gears. No creaks or rattles from the suspension, the car feels tight and solid. If I'm being picky, there is a small patch of lacquer peel on one of the headlight washer jet caps. Plus the air-con needs a re-gas. I'm in my 40's and the chap I bought it from was a mature owner and a big Ford fan. Looking at the history it's been recently sold by a Ford main dealer in the South of the UK, it even has the original Ford dealer plates! This is a totally original Focus ST2, in truly incredible condition for its age. The car has been featured on JayEmm on cars earlier this year, it's a very informative video if you'd like to learn more about this vehicle and the mk2 ST in general.
