Description
This 1991 BMW 3 Series is a 320i Baur Conversion, representing a distinctive era of German engineering. As a Baur conversion model, this vehicle offers a unique take on the classic 3 Series platform, combining the established reliability of the BMW brand with a specific body style that sets it apart from standard saloon or coupe versions. The car is powered by a 2.0 litre petrol engine, which provides a balanced driving experience consistent with the performance expectations of this model year.
The Baur conversion is a notable highlight for this vehicle, as it provides a semi-convertible roof configuration that offers a different experience compared to a fully closed or fully open car. This specific design choice allows for an open-air driving feel while maintaining the structural integrity and profile of the original saloon body. By choosing this variant, drivers gain access to a more specialised and less common version of the 3 Series, making it a practical choice for those who appreciate classic design elements and a more versatile driving environment than a standard model can provide.
This car has been my project for 3 years. It has had engine work done including head gasket, new radiator, viscus fan, all pipes, Suspension work and welding to pass the Mot. In 2031 will become classic so will not need an Mot or road tax. Now it is ready to find new loving owner. It is very rare car and will be sad to let it go.
