Just 604 Series 1 Exige models would be built during the production run at Hethel from June 2000 to November 2001. It is thought that of the 604 built, around 400 cars were RHD and mainly delivered to the UK, although a number of cars found their way to Japan and Australia. This particular example, Car number 0040, was first registered In August 2000 and supplied by Kings Lotus Warwick. Changing hands to the third owner in September 2002, the car would remain in this ownership until August 2025 for a total of 22 years and 11 months. Now with only its fourth owner who has continued the high level of care, the car is ready for a new custodian. Presented in the iconic factory colours of B25 Chrome Orange with contrasting Satin Black lightweight wheels, the exterior remains in a superb condition throughout, having covered just 17,900 miles over its 26-year life. The interior of the car features the optional Sports seats with a fabulous blue Alcantara trim pack which presents in fantastic condition. A radio was optioned from new and the factory steering wheel quick release mechanism remains fitted. A harness bar and 4-point harnesses are also fitted to hold both driver and passenger in place.
