A great hatchback that's been super reliable, cheap to run, and surprisingly fun to drive! I've used it as a run-around, but I'm now looking for something a little larger, so it's time for it to find a new owner. Details:- -Registration: RV56 JUX -Mileage: 129,071 miles -Engine: 1.4L (1,390cc) petrol -Gearbox: Manual -Service history: Part service history. I'm unsure of its service history before my ownership, but I bought it from a mechanic friend who serviced it during my ownership. Just serviced again. -Previous owners: 2 before me -ULEZ: Compliant -Fuel economy: Approximately 44 mpg combined (official advertised figure; I haven't independently tested this, but it sounds about right!) -Safety: 4-star Euro NCAP adult occupant rating (2002 assessment) Features:- -New Bluetooth radio (the original factory radio is also included if preferred) -Electric windows -Spare wheel -ABS -Anti-stall Condition and faults:- Mechanically sound. I've tried to be as transparent as possible with the photos, showing the usual scuffs and scratches you'd expect from a car of this age. For completeness, the main things to note are: -A 6-inch scratch on the rear passenger-side bumper -An approximately 1-inch dent in the boot lid -An 8-inch strip of worn paint on the passenger-side door sill from shoe wear -Some missing seat-adjustment handles. Cheap replacements are available online, but I've never needed to adjust the seat! -The headlamps are starting to cloud and could do with a polish, although they passed the MOT fine -The cup holder has jammed unfortunately, I managed this while cleaning the car for this advert! Apparently, it's a common issue, and hopefully I'll have worked out how to fix it by the time you come to view. Viewing and test drives:- The car is available to view in RH12, serving the Horsham, Cranleigh and Guildford area. Test drives are welcome with a valid driving license and appropriate insurance. All in all, a nice, simple car that does exactly what it promises without any fuss or drama. It's also surprisingly nippy and composed to drive, sharing its platform with the VW Polo.
