Less than 1000 of these cars were ever sold in the UK when new and this is one of them. We have owned this since January 2023, purchased at 86k miles. In that time we have carried out a fair amount of maintenance work including: new shocks and springs front and rear (genuine VW parts) - 2023 discs and pads front & rear - 2023 Major service - March 2023 Minor services - Feb 2024, May 2025, May 2026 The car itself has an impressive full service history (documented stamped service book) having been serviced every year of it's life, plus the following: Timing Belt - June 2015 Haldex Service - June 2015 Timing Belt & Water Pump - July 2020 Haldex Service - November 2020 Clutch & Flywheel - November 2022 Interior: The full black Vienna Leather upholstery is in great condition with the only sign of wear being on the driver's seat. Exterior: The exterior of the car is in average condition, presentable and it was treated to a paint correction detail 2023 so the Reflex Silver paintwork is bright and glossy, however please be aware this is not a show car. Being now 16 yrs old, it carrys a few marks on the bodywork. Being honest, the front & rear bumpers could do with a refresh of paint and rust is appearing on front arches. Overall though, it is presentable as can be seen from the photos. We fitted brand new 18" Talledega Alloys in 2023, genuine VW and these are wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres all round (fitted June 2026). Again being honest, 3 of the alloys are now kerbed. Engine / Chassis / Driving: In our ownership we have always run it on BP Ultimate and regularly returns around 30mpg, its smooth & pulls strong. The drive of the car was given a new lease of life in 2023 when we fitted the brand new original VW shocks and springs, for a hot hatch it's actually very smooth on the road with great handling.
