For sale is my BMW 535d. The car is in good overall condition with general age related marks inside and out but nothing major. Drives and stops as it should. I take pride in the cars I own and so they benefit from regular maintenance and cleaning, hopefully the images speak for themselves. High spec car with the main feature being the Adaptive Drive, the car has the benefit of a comfort plus mode that the standard cars don't have. The suspension is some of the best I have come across, everything firms up in sports mode then it can be dialed back in comfort and comfort plus mode. This coupled with the active role bars keeps the car level while going around corners and helps eliminate body roll. The car comes with a fresh 11 month MOT along with a spare matching set of style 373m 20" alloys with good tread tyres. The set of alloys that are on the car have matching Continental Tyres (runflat) and the spare set (see last image) come on a matching set of Yokohama Tyres (non-runflat). The MOT advisory on tyres is for the Continental set and only the rears. The car comes with service history with records at 14370, 17122, 20551, 27525, 37727 and the most recent at 48,453 that comprised of (oil, oil filter, engine air filter,and cabin air filter), fuel filter was done at 49,254miles. The car has lots of paper work detailing everything that has been done over the years. There is also paper work for an engine service at 42,154 miles that is not stapmed in the service book. During my ownership I have had the gearbox service done at Mackie Transmissions in Glasgow - paperwork present. Had the rear suspension replaced with genuine bmw shocks, old ones can come with the car as well. Replaced the discs and pads F&R. Replaced the origional wheels with the 20" 373m alloys (2 sets). The car has been a joy to own and I will be sad to see it go. The only reason it is being sold is due to not being used and owning another car that I use for work. The car sits about too much to warrent keeping it and I would rather someone else gets the proper use from it. Test drives are welcome provided you have fully comprehensive insurance otherwise I will be driving the car. No exceptions to this. There are good Rail and Air links to Ayr and I can collect you from either. Not in any rush to sell the car and I have no interest in swaps or offers.
