The 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio T Estrema is a sophisticated SUV that combines Italian design with practical performance. Sadly my Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Estrema, now has to go. We need to move due to getting a bit older and houses are not cheap. It's a real shame as this was going to be a keeper for me. I chose the Stelvio Estrema as it was effectively a quadrifoglio (without the 510bhp). It also has the timing chain at the front of the engine bay (eliminating the need to remove the gearbox), if the chain ever stretches (cheaper repairs). In fact everything about the Alfa Romeo takes you back to more old school mechanics and these days adds reliability, but with sophistication. The very low mileage is due to me only driving it occasionally. All that power and yet if you drive it sensibly you get 33mpg, with the practicality of an SUV. It's only ever been run on Shell V-Power & BP Ultimate and has injector cleaner put into the tank on a monthly basis, and also has the benefit of a full Alfa Romeo Service History along with having a recent ceramic coat (not cheap).
