BMW 730d - 93,000 Miles - Ideal Project Car / Bargain for Someone Willing to Put in the Work
I'm selling my BMW 730d, which I purchased around two years ago as a project car needing a bit of TLC.
The car has covered just 93,000 miles and, although it could do with some cosmetic attention and a few minor jobs, it has plenty of potential for someone willing to put in a little time and effort.
The good bits:
Only 93,000 miles.
Responsive engine with good pickup.
Drives well overall.
No obvious oil leaks.
A great opportunity for someone looking for a BMW 7 Series project.
Things to be aware of:
The bodywork could do with some attention.
The front bumper and front passenger seat need attention.
Recently developed a vibration when braking. I suspect the discs or pads, but this has not been diagnosed, so I cannot confirm the cause.
Front seat occupancy sensor needs replacing.
External thermostat needs replacing.
One bonnet strut is missing, with a replacement available cheaply online.
The car has mainly been sitting idle as I now use my van, and unfortunately, I just don't have the time to get these jobs sorted.
It's a shame to see it sitting unused because the engine feels responsive and the car has plenty of potential. With a bit of work, it could be a worthwhile project for someone who knows their way around a BMW.
Priced with the work needed in mind. Grab yourself a bargain and give this 730d the attention it deserves!
Please bear in mind that the car is being sold with the faults and work listed above. Viewing welcome.
