Description

MINI Cooper S R53 1.6 Supercharged | 95k Miles | FSH | 2 Owners | Stunning Blue Selling my lovely MINI Cooper S R53, finished in stunning metallic blue with a contrasting black roof. A really clean, well-looked-after example, both inside and out. As you can see from the photos, it presents beautifully for its age. Key Details: - 95,000 miles (will increase slightly) - Only 2 owners - Full Service History (FSH) - 1.6 Supercharged engine - 6-speed manual gearbox - Metallic blue with black roof - Full leather interior - Air conditioning / climate control - Electric sunroof - Alloy wheels - Airtec enclosed performance air filter - Original airbox and filter included Condition & History The car is in fantastic condition for its age and has clearly been looked after. The paintwork has a lovely shine, the interior is very clean, and it's a great-looking example of the increasingly desirable supercharged R53. Currently fitted with an Airtec enclosed performance air filter, but the original airbox and filter will also come with the car should the new owner wish to return it to standard. I'll also include a brand-new engine mount. The existing one is fine, but as these are a common wear item on R53s, I purchased a replacement to have ready for the future. Reason for Sale I originally bought the MINI as my daily work commuter, but my circumstances have changed and I'm now only travelling into the office once a week. With several other cars in the household, the MINI is unfortunately surplus to requirements. It's far too nice a car to be sitting around unused, so I'd rather it went to someone who will enjoy it. Bad Bits (Being Completely Transparent) It's a 20-year-old car, so naturally there are a few minor cosmetic imperfections: - Some stone chips on the bonnet, as you'd expect with age. - A small dent in the driver's side chrome windscreen trim. - Some lacquer peeling on the boot handle, a common MINI issue. Nothing major, but I prefer to be upfront so there are no surprises. Overall: A gorgeous, clean example of the original supercharged Cooper S. These are fantastic little cars with plenty of character, and increasingly difficult to find in such presentable condition. Serious enquiries welcome. Viewings encouraged.
