Description
Lovely example of a rare twin air Sport - sea he's for a long time to find a good one for our daughters first car and found a rare spec which had a full leather interior, paddle shift and service history.
It's
In our ownership, she has been looked after, maintained and had some upgrades despite the cost with all receipts/history to support.
She's such a reliable little car and only not started once when we had to replace the original battery when it failed. My daughter bought a new car and I started driving her as a work car and I'm amazed how much fun and power this little pocket rocket has. I've strayed doing more miles at work so need to use my bigger car as I don't want to put loads of mileage on this one.
She is a 15 year old car and genuinely in excellent condition for her age but there are a few age related marks on the paintwork but nothing major and the 2 front alloys would look great again after a refurb - my daughter managed to kerb them both when she's used it!
Genuinely the only 'bad' thing I know of is the mileage flashes due to the stereo upgrade. I've completed a proxy alignment but it still flashes - Speedo and mileage still work and it doesn't impact anything and we are used to it so haven't tried to fix it.
Maintenance & repairs carried out as follows
Serviced regularly and will be serviced before sale for the new owner
New start stop battery approx 18 months ago
Complete rear axle replacement
Front track rod ends replaced when we purchased her
Both front wheel cylinders
Left & right front wishbone suspension arms replaced - common issue on the 500
New coolant bottle - prone to leaking
New front disks and pads
New front brake calipers
Replaced the front badge as it was faded
Drivers door handle replaced
Upgrades
9'' touch screen stereo fitted - CarPlay, Bluetooth and full steering wheel controls
Abarth 595 16'' alloy wheels
New Falken 195/45/16 zien tyres
Premium leather centre armrest by Armster used it!
Other than that, a great well loved and looked after car which I will have no problem recommending to someone who wants a cheap fun car to drive that will get at least 42mpg and in eco mode nearly 50mpg, or selling to a parent for their child's car as I was in the same position once and there's an awful lot of bad ones out there.
