I purchased this car from Vauxhall in Dudley in February 2018 so I have owned it for nearly 9 years. I am the second owner. It is the rare 6 speed relaxed automatic in the best colour of Deep Sky Blue. It was in regular use up to a couple of years ago but since then it has had little use. It has been serviced by myself since the warranty expired as I am a mechanic and simply do not wish to pay ridiculous dealer prices. All oils and filters have been replaced ahead of recommended service intervals so it drives without fault. I have just replaced the rear tyres and put a fresh mot on the car for the new owner. Rear seats have never been sat in. There are a few marks on the wheels as per normal and a couple of tiny marks from inconsiderate shopping car parks but nothing too worthy of a mention. The car is excellent on fuel with between 55-65 mpg easily achievable and the road tax is also cheap at £35 per year. This is quite a regrettable sale as it is such a good motor and I was happy to hold on to it despite very little use, however, now that I have retired and my wife also has a company car the Astra is just sitting in the garage on a battery optimiser and I really cannot justify holding on to it. You can see it has only done 500 miles this year since it was MOT`d in January! Therefore, I would rather someone get the use out of it. My Astra is one of the last Vauxhalls when it was still owned by GM ( General Motors) which are regarded as the best made. Any inspection welcome.
