Description

MINI Cooper S R53 - Under 59,500k Miles (will increase slightly) R53 Cooper S with just under 60,000 miles. Extensively modified with a large amount of mechanical, suspension and underside work carried out. Modifications / mechanical: Phase 2 cam 17% supercharger pulley and belt MTC silicone hoses GRS intercooler with carbon scoop Enlarged throttle body K&N air filter in original sealed airbox Stainless rocker cover bolts Scorpion manifold with sports cat and full exhaust system - resonator subsequently fitted as the non-resonated system was too loud BC BR coilovers with protective covers Uprated anti-roll bar with poly bushes Front and rear poly bushes New ball joints New drop links New track rod ends New wheel bearings Front and rear underbody bracing K-brace AP Racing 4-pot front brakes with braided lines and Reyland two-piece floating discs Team Dynamics Pro Race 2.0 wheels Cosmetic / interior: Full-length panoramic sunroof with tilt function TRC body kit Rear wiper delete Stereo with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto and reversing camera Upgraded speakers RHD under-steering-wheel parcel shelf Maintenance / underside: Supercharger service and water pump carried out less than 3,000 miles ago. Serviced within 500 miles ago and just had brand new rear discs and Brembo pads fitted (not shown in pics). The underside has had extensive restoration work, including the subframes being stripped, painted and protected, alongside the replacement/ upgraded suspension components. The car has covered relatively little mileage since much of the work was completed. It was in dry storage for most of the last 5 years. Selling because I have bought another car. I bought the car because I wanted an R53 that had already had the right sort of work done to it, rather than buying a standard car and starting from scratch. This one stood out because of the low mileage and the amount that had already been spent on the mechanical side of the car.
