Description

BMW E30 Cabriolet 80,000 miles, over 3,500gbp spent on full service and repairs done by Fisher Performance in August 26, copy of invoice in "pictures" complete set of new tyres, to name but one, new Soft Top put on around 2years ago. Wonderful car only been sold as stepson now getting a mortgage. August 26 "New" to us clocks were installed but these show mileage of 155,000miles, recorded as kms in error by MOT testing station but too far to take car back to have it changed to miles, previous clocks before change showed mileage of just under 80,000, verification of clocks change on Fishers Performance attached and previous MOT will reflect the lower mileage. The car only been used as a weekend hobby and has not done more than estimated 2000miles per year. There was a few receipts when we bought it but no service history available up until we bought it in August 23, a lot of money has been spent on regular servicing, repairs etc all of which are shown in the attachments and listed below March 20 New Battery March 24 Service & MOT 1500.50gbp May 24 Supply/fit new clutch 1005.23gbp May 24 New wipers June 24 Computer front toe alignment 38.40gbp June 24 Power Steering Fluid, prop shaft joint & labour 344.10gbp August 24 Supply/fit new hood 1250gbp May 25 Service (oil, gasket etc) 200.061gbp April 26 Full Service 366.43gbp We estimate around 8000gbp has been spent since purchase so you would think all major stuff that can go wrong has been renewed/replaced etc but it does show that the car has been looked after and we hope a new owner will appreciate this. It is currently sitting on a drip feeder in the garage and is currently taxed so can go for test drives but we must drive it due to insurance etc. Several Faults not recorded on MOT Advisory Passenger Seat has no adjustment Aerial works on and off Car Stereo works on and off Ignition Barrel is troublesome, works ok most of the time and have to wiggle the key around, Fishers and myself tried to find a working replacement without success. For a car enthusiast with some knowledge most of the above are an easy fix, unfortunately for those not in the know its a lot more inconvenient. A lot of the work above was looked at by Fishers but after spending over 3,500gbp Jake had to draw a line somewhere and at the point he was going to keep the car himself.
